AM Checklist

Notes

General

  • Restock all Housekeeping carts, sprayers / chemicals, clean garbage bags, rags, etc.
  • Restock all linen / towel shelves in storage rooms on each floor
  • Keep storage rooms clean & organized
  • Keep all public spaces and back of house spaces clean

8AM

Parking Lot & Landscape Areas [30 min]      

  • Sweep up debris in dumpster area
    • Contact maintenance if area is in need of deep clean
  • Walk parking lot and pick up trash, debris and cigarette butts in landscaping & parking lot
  • Empty cigarette butts from trays and all trash cans

Hallways / Corridors [1 hr]

  • Dust, clean vending & ice machine areas including machine tops, sides, sweep and mop floor (moving mat and under machines), empty trash
  • Wipe/clean windows & window ledges at ends of hallways  FRIDAYS
  • Vacuum all hallways on each floor
  • Wipe down linen room doors, stair doors, store room doors for fingerprints and dirt
  • Dust fixtures, art and high dust along all hallways, check walls for dirt and spills
  • Breakroom trash, clean room, dust, sweep and mop
  • Clean trash cart and replace bottom rag towels
  • Restock hand sanitizers where needed

Stairwells & Breezeways [15 min]

  • Clean/vacuum stairwells, cobwebs, wipe down handles, walls and clean as needed
    • Sunday - South Stairwell
    • Monday - North Stairwell
    • Tuesday - 
    • Wednesday - 
    • Thursday - South Stairwell
    • Friday - North Stairwell
    • Saturday - 


10AM

Breakfast Area [30 min]

  • Clean all surfaces
  • Wipe foot rests on chairs / stools
  • Remove all trash from breakfast area and kitchen
  • High & low dusting of furniture, art, decorations, light fixtures, cabinets, shelves
  • Sweep, vacuum & mop all breakfast areas & kitchen

Business Center [5 min]

  • Dust / Wipe surfaces, keyboards, mouse
  • Wipe Monitor Screen with non-alcoholic chemicals

11AM

Guest Laundry [15 min]

  • Wipe down machines (inside and outside) and table / folding surfaces
  • High dusting - signs, lights, pictures, tops of machines, vents
  • Empty trash
  • Sweep & mop floors
  • Restock Laundry Soap Dispenser 

Gym Area / Fitness Center [10 min]   

  • Empty trash and dirty towels, replace towels
  • Vacuum fitness room floor
  • Clean fitness room mirror
  • Wipe down all fitness equipment and bench, arrange free weights
  • Refill cups, water and earphones
  • High dusting - TV, art, vents, fixtures

Public Restrooms [30 min]

  • Clean restroom toilets
  • Restock supplies
  • Clean mirrors, wipe down counters and along side of cabinet, wipe down stall, walls and doors
  • Sweep & mop floors
  • Remove trash
  • Check air freshener and soap - refill as needed
  • Restock vending machine in women's restroom

Pool Area & Back Patio [25 min]    

  • Sweep off back patio and mats
  • Empty trash and cigarette butts on back patio
  • Wipe down patio tables and chairs
  • Remove dirty towels, restock with clean towels
  • Empty trash in pool area
  • Clean up trash surrounding pool and in cracks
  • Pool Chairs - arrange and organize, wipe down, and clean chairs and tables

1 PM

Lobby Duties [45 min]    

  • Remove all trash
  • High & low dusting of furniture, art, decorations, light fixtures, cabinets, shelves
  • Sweep, vacuum, & mop all lobby flooring
  • Clean entrance areas and glass
  • Clean all side and back entrance doors and glass
  • Restock hand sanitizers where needed
  • Clean mirrors and artwork
  • Wipe/clean windows & window ledges on all floors and all areas
  • Vacuum welcome mats in lobby entrances and all mats throughout hotel

2PM

Elevator [10 min]

  • Wipe down elevator doors and buttons, interior walls, frame and tracks, vacuum track clean and wipe out
  • Clean elevator inside & out- sweep and mop, wipe/polish surfaces- "Like New"

Storage Rooms [30 min]

  • Keep storage rooms clean & organized
  • Wipe down linen room doors, stair doors, store room doors for fingerprints and dirt
  • Restock all linen / towel / chemical shelves in storage rooms on each floor
  • Restock all Housekeeping carts, sprayers / chemicals, clean garbage bags, rags, etc.   VERY IMPORTANT  

Mechanical & Electrical Rooms [15 min]

  • Clean floors, surfaces - as needed

Employee Areas & Breakroom [10 min]

  • Wipe down surfaces, sink areas, equipment, fridge
  • Restock dispensers
  • Empty trash
  • Mop floor

Back Office & Manager Office [10 min]

  • Wipe down surfaces & equipment
  • Restock dispensers
  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum

Laundry Room [15 min]

  • Restock all linen / towel / chemical shelves in storage rooms on each floor
  • Restock all Housekeeping carts, sprayers / chemicals, clean garbage bags, rags, etc.   VERY IMPORTANT  
  • Empty Trash
  • Mop floor
