When using our phone consoles, we (the staff) can make outgoing long-distance calls but should try to use email as our first and preferred method of contact with guests when we are working to assist them with reservations.
However, the phone consoles in our guest rooms should be set to LOC (local calls) only.
Here are some helpful notes below to help understand the different abbreviations for our phone consoles.
- LD = Long Distance (and International)
- INT = internal calls only (room to room)
- LOC = Local Calls
